Abstract

The article aims to contextualize the question of the penal symbolism and its connection with the legislative change on the criminal action of the crimes against sexual freedom. With that, it is sought to understand how such a measure distances itself from real visibility to women victims of sexual violence, in order to strengthen their autonomy and decision-making participation in the process.
