Abstract

The present study to approach the life and work of the Santa Catarina sociologist Anita Moser, who researched the working conditions of peasant women who migrated to the textile industry in the city of Rodeio (SC) in 1970. Her book, The New Submission, shows, based on narratives feminine, as the discourse of feminine independence for work in industry gives way to a social insertion subordinated by production and consumption.
