GÊNERO E HISTORIOGRAFIA: um novo olhar sobre o passado das mulheres

Este artigo foi apresentado na mesa redonda "Gênero e historiografia", do III Seminário de História e Cultura da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). Tendo em vista o tema da mesa, organizei o texto com o propósito de abordar, inicialmente, as inquietações que moveram historiadoras feministas a introduzir o gênero como conceito na historiografia, destacando aportes teóricos que criaram condições para tornar esse acontecimento possível. Em seguida, apresento algumas análises que tenho realizado no âmbito de uma pesquisa sobre "gênero e nação" - aqui em específico, desenvolvida na fronteira entre a História e a Literatura de Júlia Lopes de Almeida - a fim de elucidar as questões colocadas.

This present article was presented at the round "Gender and historiography " of the Third

Seminar on History and Culture of the Uberlandia Federal University (UFU) . Given the theme

of the table, I arranged the text in order to initially address the concerns that moved feminist

historians to introduce gender as a concept in history, highlighting theoretical contributions that have created the conditions to make this possible event. Then, I present some analysis I

have done in the context of a research on "gender and nation" - in particular, developed on the

border between History and Literature of Júlia Lopes de Almeida - in order to elucidate the

questions .
