GÊNERO E SEXUALIDADE NA ESCOLA: experiências vividas na rede municipal de Palmas Tocantins

A temática de gênero e sexualidade, apesar de ser muito interessante e de extrema importância em ser inserida nos currículos da educação, ainda gera medos, tabus e preconceitos. Neste sentido, a formação docente é fundamental para que outras práticas sejam realizadas no cotidiano da escola. Desconstruir formas de aprender/ensinar e construir possibilidades metodológicas para temática de gênero e da educação para a sexualidade é um dos objetivos do curso de  aperfeiçoamento "Sexualidade e Escola: Discutindo a Diversidade sexual, o enfrentamento ao Sexismo e a Homofobia", destinado a professoras/es da Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental do Município de Palmas - TO, por meio da parceria de duas Universidades Públicas Federais ( FURG E UFT). Portanto, é possível compreender que a escola é um lugar privilegiado para se promover a cultura de reconhecimento da pluralidade das identidades e dos comportamentos relativos a diferenças.

Abstract

The theme of gender and sexuality, despite being very interesting and very important to be inserted in the curricula of education, still generates fears, taboos and prejudices. In this sense, teacher training is essential so that other practices are carried out in the school routine. Deconstruct ways to learn / teach and build methodological possibilities for gender issues and sexuality education is one of the refresher course objectives "Sexuality and School: Discussing sexual diversity, facing the Sexism and Homophobia", to teachers / s of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education of the City of Palmas - TO, through the partnership of two Federal Public Universities (FURG And UFT). You can therefore understand that the school is a privileged place to promote the culture of recognition of the plurality of identities and behavior with regard to differences
