Resumo

O objetivo deste ensaio é pesquisar e analisar as atividades da Delegacia Especial de Atendimento à Mulher - DEAM, juntamente com a nova Lei nº. 11.340/06, embarcando, principalmente, no campo jurídico sem perder o vínculo com as áreas sociais para aprofundar a discussão em torno do feminismo, família, políticas públicas, gênero e violência doméstica. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Direito - Políticas Públicas - Gênero - Violência Doméstica - Legitimidade. ABSTRACT: The objective of this assay is to search and to analyze the activities of the Special Police station of Attendance to Woman - DEAM, together with the new Law nº. 11.340/06, embarking mainly in the legal area without losing the bond with the social areas to deepen the quarrel around the feminism, family, public politics, gender and domestic violence.
