A revista Horizonte Científico é um veículo de divulgação da produção acadêmica gerada nos programas de iniciação científica da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. A iniciativa de editar a revista nasceu entre os docentes pesquisadores da Comissão de Iniciação Científica da UFU, no cumprimento de suas atribuições na Diretoria de Pesquisa da Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa e Pós Graduação. Espera-se que o formato eletrônico da revista proporcione facilidade, agilidade e extensão ampla no acesso aos resultados das investigações desenvolvidas nos projetos de iniciação científica da UFU, tanto no âmbito interno como no externo. A intenção é a de alcançar não apenas as instituições acadêmicas, mas também outros agentes sociais que tenham interesses científicos, incluindo as escolas de ensino médio. Dessa forma, o Comitê entende que a revista, além de ser um instrumento de estímulo e valorização da prática científica, estará comprometida com as diversas demandas sociais por conhecimento científico presentes na sociedade.

MAGAZINE SUMMARY

Téssera is a magazine of the ANPOLL WG "Imaginary, literary representations and cultural displacements". It edits two issues per year (biannually), with the rotation of the "Dossier" and "Free" editions, both accompanied by reviews. All papers presented here are developed from the field of Imaginary Studies, whose epistemological basis is based on the thought of Carl Gustav Jung, Gaston Bachelard, Gilbert Durand, Ernest Cassirer, Roger Caillois, Eleazar Mielietinski, Franco Crespi, Gary Greenberg, JW Rogerson, Joseph Campbell, KK Ruthven, Mircea Eliade, Jean-Jacques Wunenburger, Alberto Filipe Araújo, Ana Maria Lisboa de Mello, as well as in the exercise of criticism by Pierre Brunel, Jean Burgos, Jean-Pierre Richard, Georges Poulet, among others.

Veterinária Notícias (Abbreviation: Vet. Not., Parallel title: Veterinary News) (ISSN: 1983-0777) is a continuous flow annual journal, OPEN ACCESS journal, that is published by Programa de Pós Graduação em Ciências Veterinárias da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (PPGCVET-UFU), WITHOUT FEE OR CHARGES for publication. The Journal welcomes and acknowledges high-quality original research papers, case studies, review papers, and literature reviews from researchers, academicians, professionals, practitioners, and students worldwide.

By the year 2022, the Journal has 1384 citations by google academic; in the last 5 years, the number is 563.

Veterinária Notícias (Veterinary News) publishes research papers in the field of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, including Clinical and Surgery, Inspection of Animal Products, Animal Therapeutics and Pharmacology, Nutrition and Animal Feeding, Genetics and Animal Breeding, Animal Reproduction, Ethology and Animal Welfare, Epidemiology and Public Health, Animal Health and Animal Production.

Veterinária Notícias is indexed by and included in AGRIS, AGROBASE, CAB Internactional (Index Veterinarius/Veterinary Bulletin), LATINDEX, OJS, PERIODICA, CAPES, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), BIREME, Google Scholar. Moreover, the Journal is under the indexing process.

The Journal is 34 years old and was published in print (ISSN: 0104-3463) until 2008. From that year onwards, the Journal is published only online (ISSN: 1983-0777). In 2022 publications are in continuous flow with one volume per year.
