History of the Portuguese language school discipline in Mato Grosso do Sul (1977-2008)

Abstract
The work “History of Portuguese Language School Discipline in Mato Grosso do Sul (1977-2008) is the result of a postdoctoral research in School Education by Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, defended in 2011, and is based on rigorous research. documentary history, with a careful analysis of the curricular policies of the Portuguese Language referring to the period from 1977 to 2008, permeating the transformations that occurred in the teaching of this subject in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. The author observed the absence of studies that address the comprehension of more recent past, especially from 1970, so that, for temporal delimitation, it records the period of creation of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, from 1977 to 2008, when the curricular proposal in force at the time of data collection, and for corpus delimitation, the analysis refers to the last four grades / year of elementary school / elementary school. The author was based on the textual configuration for the analysis of the curriculum proposals as a written document and that covers a series of aspects understood as constitutive elements of this document, independent if external or internal, namely: who wrote, where, when, why, what, what for, for whom and how. Thus, the curricular proposals went through an analysis of the materiality of their supports, comprising the formal aspects of the proposals, the authorship, the reception, the theoretical conceptions and the consulted and suggested bibliographies.
