Abstract

The book 'Acordo de Leniência em Investigação de Cartel: Acesso a documentos proveniente de investigações antitruste', written by Mariana Porto Koch, has as its central theme the verification of the possibility of consumers having access to documents obtained through the Leniency Agreement with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE, in the in the portuguese acronym), with the objective of filing reparation causes. Methodologically, the book is divided into two parts. The first analyzed the possible anticompetitive illicit conduct that can cause harm to consumers and, in the second part, it presents proposals for legislative changes to Law No. 12,529/2011. The book, therefore, debates important and sensitive themes and has an innovative character, since the subject is objetct of a Bill under discussion in the National Congress.
