Abstract

This is a commentary on Law no. 13.979, of February 6, 2020, which established the policy of distancing and social isolation, having as a key point the contradiction regarding the acts of the chief of the Executive Brach in the opposite direction, that is, which encouraged the breach of the established public health policy. The distortion is so great that currently there are several lawsuits that try to contain acts of the chief of the Executive Brach, with emphasis on the "Allegation of Non-Compliance with a Fundamental Precept Lawsuit" ('ADPF', in the Portuguese acronym) no. 669, which was presented before the Federal Supreme Court, and already contains an injunction barring advertising that ran the campaign “Brazil cannot stop”.
