Abstract

The article reports the experience of elaboration, use and evaluation of a virtual classroom, built with the learning management system Moodle, wich was used as a support of geography presencial learning in a classroom composed by fifty students in the first year of the high-school integrated technician program. The aim was to evaluate if the use of this technological resource was important for enhancing the learning of some subjects of geography, like orientation, localization in space, time zones and cartography. The results were evaluated trough the opinions of the students and the observations of the theacher. As a result, has been concluded that the resourse was considerated as an useful tool for the enhancing of learning of geography at this level of studies.
