PUBLIC CALL FOR THE SPECIAL ISSUE “EXTENSION IN HUMAN RIGHTS AND DIVERSITIES AT THE INTERFACE WITH BASIC EDUCATION”

The proposed theme aims to welcome theoretical-conceptual and/or analytical works on the subject, addressing the following objectives:

a) to provide a dedicated moment for reflection and a broader and more consolidated elaboration on the experiences and practices developed in extension education in human rights and diversities within basic education;
b) to encourage the academic production of professionals working in basic education on the theme of Education in Human Rights and Diversities;
c) to contribute to strengthening the dialogue between extension and education in human rights and diversities at the interface with basic education.

We hope that this edition will contribute to the debate and the construction of a society educated in human rights and diversities as a fundamental structure of a Democratic State governed by the Rule of Law.

The submission of works must be registered under the category Special Edition Articles. Up to 20 (twenty) texts will be selected among articles and experience reports. If the text is approved but not selected by the proposers, it may be included in the regular editions of 2026, at the discretion of the journal's editorial team.
The submission deadline will extend from the date of publication of this call until March 31, 2025. The publication of the edition will occur in July 2025.

Submitted texts must follow the criteria governing the submission and evaluation guidelines of the journal Em Extensão, available at this address.
