Abstract

Georgina de Albuquerque's production reveals the São Paulo painter's interest in the representation of the feminine. We highlight paintings where the expression of emotions and sentimentality are shown from the physiognomy and body posture. The present work aims to present part of this production reflecting on the context of valuing expressions in Brazilian artistic practice.
