Abstract

ABSTRACT

This article discusses the insertion of food supplements, such as vitamins, tonics, natural and industrialized foods, hygienist advertising and publicity images of the newspaper O Estadão (1901-1940) as a recommendation to the health of the nursing mother and the infant by hygienist propaganda and Brazilian food advertising.
