DISCUTINDO SOBRE O ESTADO, ENSINANDO SOBRE GÊNERO: as lições do curso gênero e diversidade

Resumo

Resumo Este texto busca apresentar algumas reflexões obtidas a partir da disciplina Gênero e Estado, no curso Gênero e Diversidade da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). O curso Gênero e Diversidade é uma iniciativa, no âmbito da graduação, articulada a partir do Núcleo de Estudos Interdisciplinares sobre a Mulher (NEIM) e tem por objetivo formar profissionais capazes de trazer a dimensão de gênero para as políticas públicas. A disciplina Gênero e Estado possibilitou um diálogo entre a teoria política e a teoria feminista. Sendo assim, apresentarei a forma como o programa da disciplina foi desenvolvido e quais as principais referências trabalhadas. Discutirei as impressões dos alunos sobre esta experiência e, por fim, buscarei sistematizar as principais lições desta experiência, identificando quais as principais questões trazidas pela categoria gênero no ensino de Teoria do Estado, cuja interseção direta reflete nos estudos sobre Administração Pública, democracia e desigualdades Palavras-chave: Estado. Abstract This paper aims to present some reflections derived from the discipline and the State and Gender, in the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). The discipline happened in the Gender and Diversity course, an initiative at the undergraduate level, articulated from the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies on Women (NEIM) and aims to train professionals capable of bringing the gender dimension to public policy. The discipline Gender and State allowed a dialogue between political theory and feminist theory. Therefore, I will present how the syllabus was developed and the main references worked. Discuss the impressions of students about this experience and, finally, seek to systematize the main lessons of this experience, identifying the main issues brought about by the gender category in teaching Theory of the State, whose intersection directly reflected in studies on public administration, democracy and inequality Keywords: State.
