Abstract

This analysis investigates the effects of stereotype-based rules on Black women in the relationships between the characters Mia Warren and Elena Richardson in the series Little Fires Everywhere. The analysis employs the Analysis of Rules' Effects, based on the assumptions of radical behaviorism. Although the series is fictional, it reflects real social dynamics, showing how the relationships between characters illustrate the persistence of rules that, despite surface-level changes, still maintain control and oppressive subordination over Black women.

    Possui mestrado em NEUROCIÊNCIAS E COMPORTAMENTO pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2023). Atualmente é doutoranda em PSICOLOGIA EXPERIMENTAL no Laboratório de Investigação Comportamental (LabIC) do Instituto de Psicologia da Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Representante Discente Nacional da ANPEPP (Biênio 2025-2026) e Coordenadora da Comissão de Ações Afirmativas na Pós-graduação (CAAF-IPUSP). Tem experiência na área da Psicologia Social e Nutrição Social por uma perspectiva analítico-comportamental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Variáveis Sociais do Comportamento Alimentar e da (IN)Segurança Alimentar e Práticas Sociais e Verbais relacionadas ao Racismo e Sexismo.
