guilt and responsibility in narratives of caesarean births

This article examines the emotions expressed in internet narratives of cesarean birth, especially guilt which points at the issue of who is responsible for the surgery. Through this analysis, we discuss the links between concepts of the body, subjectivity, motherhood and moral values.
