The Course “Literature: Other Media” in Language Teaching Undergraduate Programs

This article emphasizes the importance of the course “Literature: Other Media” in Language Teaching Undergraduate Programs by drawing on a specific study case. It addresses the aspects of the teaching plan applied to the 8th term of a Language Teaching Program in a private higher education institution in the southern region of Brazil. It also discusses the students' participation and final products presented at the end of the course. This analysis first demonstrates a possible theoretical approach for the course. Then, it seeks to discuss a possible methodological and evaluative approach aimed to contribute to incorporating the course “Literature: Other Media” in the curriculum and guiding professionals in the field through the pedagogical practice under analysis.
