In the context of contemporary societies, which increasingly value speed and efficiency in personal, professional and leisure interactions, relevant discussions arise about the use of space, sustainability, mobility, displacements and transport. These themes are the subject of crucial debates due to the various obstacles encountered in the provision of public services of this nature. Thus, the main objective of this research was to discuss the transportation and displacement of people as constitutionally recognized rights, given their notorious importance for the achievement of other fundamental rights. To this end, a bibliographic review was carried out on the subject, structuring the article into three parts, indicating a brief historical evolution of transport, an indication of the influence of technology and communication in this sector, as well as, in the axis central to the debate, its consolidation as a fundamental right, inherent to the dignity of the human person.
