In recent decades, the number of works that mention human/social participation in superficial natural processes, such as erosion and sedimentation, with consequent changes in relief, in surface materials, etc., has increased, a context in which the approach to technogenic gounds emerges. This article discusses the production of technogenic ground in the Piscina Stream, in Rondonópolis-MT, in continuation of studies previously carried out in its source area. Images from different periods of Google Earth Pro are used, in addition to the use of other tools, such as Street View, demonstrating that this software is highly usable, especially for monitoring changes in aspects of the landscape. It concludes with the assertion that technogenic grounds must be studied from the perspective of totality, and that capitalist sociability needs to be approached in order to understand the means and ends of landscape transformations.
