Abstract

The city of Paranavaí presents several erosions in the landscape, such problems are due to the natural aspect of the soils, coming from the sandstones of the Caiuá Formation, together with the management applied in the area. Therefore, the goal of this work is to understand the evolution process of a gull located in the district of Sumaré in Paranavaí-PR - Brazil, using rainfall data and aerial and satellite images. It was used as methodology the survey of satellite images from do ITCG of the year 1980, do Google  Earth Pro the years 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and area images obtained by the UAV of the years 2018 and 2020. Based on this information, we elaborated the maps. There was an analysis of the rainfall data from 1976 to 2018. The results showed that 2015 was the rainiest year and, based on the analysis of the images, was when the gully increased the most, due to the concentrated water flow.
