This research aims to verify the organization of vertical and lateral pedological coverage along a toposequence, aiming to understand the relationships between the pedological system and the relief in the municipality of Iguaraçu-PR. The toposequence survey was carried out along a slope of smooth and wavy relief, where the soils are formed by altering the sandstone of the Caiuá Formation. To survey the toposequence and the soils, the Two-dimensional Analysis of the Pedological Cover was applied, aiming to identify the vertical and lateral transitions of the pedological horizons and, later, the granulometry of the samples collected in the auger surveys was determined. The results indicated a toposequence compose by the pedological system Latosol-Gleisol, which despite the flat to smooth undulating relief, is in the process of transformation. The granulometric analysis of the auger surveys indicated that there is a loss of clay vertically and laterally, with occurrence of more sandy profiles at the foot of the slope, with a tendency of a remontant evolution.
