Abstract

ABSTRACT: His paper reports the partial results achieved with the implementation of the Low River White Project: experiences, carried out through the extension and research the Federal University of Roraima. The products presented correspond to the data collected and analyzed in bibliographic and documentary surveys, plus two fieldwork carried out in ctober 2018 and may 2019. The main objective is to understand the socio-environmental and economic dynamics in the Low River White Region in the southern portion of the state of Roraima. The Amazonian reality experienced during the research encompasses sixteen riverside villages, interconnected in a relationship of interdependence and mutual survival. The visits to the communities prioritized the thematic axes quality of life, basic education, environmental education, work and income, according to the reading through the experiences of the researchers involved.
