About the Journal

  • Revista Economia Ensaios (The Brazilian Economic Essays Journal) is edited by the Institute of Economics and International Relations of the Federal University of Uberlândia (IERI-UFU), and it has been published since 1984, on a semesterly basis.
  • The journal has a pluralist approach and accepts articles, review articles, book reviews, notes and comments, as well as other original contributions in theoretical and applied economics and related areas.
  • The Journal publishes articles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

The Editorial Board of the Journal consists of the following professors: Cleomar Gomes da Silva (Editor-in-Chief), Ana Paula Macedo de Avellar, Benito Adelmo Salomão Neto, Clésio Marcelino de Jesus, Érica Imbirussú de Azevedo, Guilherme Jonas Costa da Silva, Humberto Eduardo de Paula Martins e Leonardo Segura Moraes (Associated Editors).
