Abstract

Scientific dissemination corresponds to the transposition of scientific discourse to the general population, allowing the dissemination of scientific facts through simple and accessible communication. Given the current situation in the world, that it is facing the new coronavirus pandemic, keeping the population informed becomes, more than ever, a fundamental role for universities. As these are new and unexpected situations, the doubts and the dissemination of fake news are very frequent, highlighting the need for secure and easy-to-understand communication channels. Thus, the objective of this Call Center of Covid-19 UEMG-Passos was to playfully bring informations, based on scientific knowledge, to the general population that uses social networks. To this end, audiovisual resources were produced through the Animaker online software. It is expected to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge about the virus, the disease and its consequences, helping to consolidate the role of the university as a reflection and transforming agent of society.
