Abstract

This studied verified the psychometric properties of Questionário sobre Comportamentos Juvenis (QCJ; in English, Questionnaire on Youth Behaviors) tool that characterize antisocial behaviors of young and measure risk and protection variables related. The analyses were made with the data of 836 male students’ sample, aged 11 to 18 (M = 14,4; SE = 2,1) The Cronbach alphas ranged from 0.23 to 0.89 and intradomain correlations were significant in 81% of the cases, with coefficients varying from 0.10 to 0.54. The correlations between the scales and Externalizing Behaviors were significant in 62% of the cases, varying from 0.10 to 0.43. Despite some limitations, QCJ is valid for tracking social, relational and behavioral problems in the adolescent population.
