MAGNITUDE E TEMPO DE RECORRÊNCIA DAS VAZÕES DE MARGENS PLENAS EM RIOS DO PLANALTO BASÁLTICO DO ESTADO DO PARANÁ

Resumo

O objetivo do trabalho é estimar as magnitudes de vazão de margens plenas (Qmp) e seu tempo de recorrência (Tmp) em estações fluviométricas localizadas nas regiões Oeste e Sudoeste do Paraná. A área de estudo está inserida numa região homogênea que apresenta características fisiográficas em comum (geológicas, geomorfológicas e climáticas). O nível de margens plenas foi definido em campo, mediante levantamento topográfico, tendo como referência os depósitos de diques marginais nos canais com incisão fraco e os depósitos laterais nos canais com incisão forte. A vazão Qmp foi calculada mediante equação de curvas-chave e o tempo Tmp foi estimado pela distribuição de Log-Pearson III. A área da bacia nas estações analisadas variou de 336 a 17.400 km2 e a Qmp variou de 77,7 a 2.580 m3/s. O tempo de retorno da vazão Qmp oscilou entre 1,05 e 1,80 ano com valor médio de 1,34 ano.
