Globalization has brought about structural changes in international trade from the 1980s onwards, as it reconfigured economic relations between countries and boosted the opening of their markets to foreign capital. The objective of this work was to analyze the logistical networks of transport and the bonded warehouses that moved the export flows of the slaughterhouse industry, in Minas Gerais, between the years 1997 to 2018. Of the bonded warehouses that make up the export network, the port of Santos, located in the state of São Paulo, was the main place to receive the goods. Meat: pork, poultry and beef, were the most exported. Beef represented 47 percent of total exports. Exports of meat produced in Minas Gerais are mainly concentrated in European, Asian and Middle Eastern markets. In the analyzed period, Russia was the biggest buyer, followed by the markets of: Hong Kong, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, among others.
