The Serra das Andorinhas Cave is one of the geomorphological features of the Serra das Andorinhas/Martírios and was renamed as Serra dos Martírios/Andorinhas State Park and São Geraldo do Araguaia Environmental Protection Area when listed. It is considered a quartzite speleological province of PESAM, which interaction between geological and geomorphological processes over time resulted in a landscape that stands out in the municipality. The objective of this study was to analyze the morphogenetic and morphodynamic aspects of the area, especially the Cave. The methodological bases for this study were composed of research and bibliographic search, fieldwork, elaboration of thematic maps to recognize the main natural features, and photographic records. As a result of this investigation, it was verified that the landscape of the Serra fits as non-traditional karst, being formed largely by non-carbonate rocks, due to the presence of the metamorphic rock quartzite. In addition, it was possible to verify records of morphogenetic and morphodynamic processes, being identified through the geomorphological features present in the Serra das Andorinhas Cave.
