Abstract

In the present article we sought to analyze the surface and night temperature of the city of Três Lagoas-MS-Brazil to identify areas with positive thermal changes, considering the income information of the population as indicative of risk and urban socioenvironmental vulnerability. From a theoretical and methodological point of view, it was worked on two fronts - quantitative data, the elaboration of maps and the gathering of information on population income on the one hand, and qualitative analyses of this data and information on the other, in an effort to unfold dialogues between the different dimensions of Geography. It was verified that the highest temperatures in the city are those in which the population with lower income predominates, under a housing perspective; which confirms the relationship between thermal comfort and social-spatial inequality.
