Monumentalidade, linhagem e estrutura narrativa: o horizonte de expectativa do projeto urbanístico de Goiânia

Resumen

Este artigo procura examinar o horizonte de expectativas existentes no projeto de construção da nova capital do estado de Goiás, Goiânia. Através das noções de linhagem estética e estrutura narrativa pretendo reconstruir a noção de monumentalidade que foi desenvolvida pelos projetistas encarregados da elaboração da planta da nova capital e a forma como as apropriações de ideários urbanísticos internacionais e elementos sociais e históricos funcionaram como o cimento necessário constituição do imaginário político coletivo sobre aquele espaço urbano. ABSTRACT: This article att empts to examine the existing horizon of expectations in the project of building the new capital of the state of Goias, Goiania. Through the concepts of narrative structure and aesthetics lineage want to reconstruct the concept of monumentality that was developed by designers responsible for draft ing the plan of the new capital and the form how the appropriations of international urban ideals and social and historical elements functioned as the cement necessary to the formation of the collective political imaginary about that urban space.
