Abstract

This article aims at contributing to studies that look for convergences between history and theater based on readings and reflection on the way the play Dar não dói, o que dói é resistir, by the theatrical group Tá na Rua, was read by newspapers, which points to how this production was greeted when it was staged. We intend to pick up memories of the show and the group built by a particular kind of audience who left behind evidence of the history of Tá na Rua. At the same time, we enquire what is the place of street theater in newspapers and in the history of Brazilian theater.
