This research is an opinion presented by the Brazilian Society of Anti-Discrimination Law (SBDA), a non-profit institution, before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, as amicus curiae, based on Article 44 of the Rules of Procedure of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, in the case of Dos Santos Nascimento and Another vs. Brazil. As for the methodology, it is a descriptive research that, through the qualitative-quantitative approach, managed to demonstrate that the case should be judged well-founded, with the Brazilian State being held responsible for the violation of the rights of Neusa dos Santos Nascimento and Gisele Ana Ferreira.
