Artificial intelligence (AI) has a unique power, to undermine the human potential for improving results that traditional tools are not capable of. The pandemic served to show that the implementation of disruptive technologies in labor relations is an irreversible path, on which a mature and complex reflection on the relationship between man and this technology that is increasingly transforming labor relations is needed, encouraging human capacities and providing the construction of new realities. Currently, artificial intelligence promotes a diversity of conventional technologies that are having a substantial impact on everyday life, in this context, attention must be paid to the observance of human rights in labor relations, which are being impacted by AI. With a quick historical overview, it is possible to diagnose that humanity is a constant semiotic dialectic, in a hopeful search for a better future. In this scenario, new forms of work were created while others were eliminated, reformulated or adapted, especially during the period of the pandemic.
