Insalubrity by exposure to biological agents during the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil

Abstract

This work studied the characterization of work activities in permanent contact with infectious diseases patients, during Covid-19 pandemic context in Brazil, according applicable legislation. The litigation incidence in work justice was also analyzed, for non-compliance with occupational hygiene legislation. Finally, the analysis of the regulatory standards for occupational health and safety was carried out in order to characterize the unhealthy activities exposed to biological agents during the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil. It was found that the consequences of non-compliance with occupational hygiene standards result in high rates of labor lawsuits, therefore, it is necessary to adopt preventive measures to combat Covid-19 and avoid labor liabilities.
