Abstract

This is the publication of the abstracts selected via double blind review, presented at the event entitled 'VIII Symposium on Migration and People Protection: Migrations from the Global South’, held between July 05 and 06, 2023, at the Federal University of Uberlândia. The event was organized by the Legal Clinic for Migrants and People at Risk (AJESIR) and by the Study and Research Group in International Law (GEPDI/CNPq), with the support of the Journal and support from FAPEMIG (OET-00020-23).

    Diretor de Inovação e Transferência de Tecnologia da UFU (Período de 2017-atual - DIRTC-PROPP/UFU - Agência Intelecto e Incubadora CIAEM). Professor da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Doutor em Direito Internacional pela "Universidad de Valencia - España". Coordenador da Rede de Pesquisa de Processo Civil Internacional, e Co-coordenador a Assesoria Jurídica para Migrantes e Pessoas em Situação de Risco – AJESIR/UFU. Líder do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Direito Internacional - GEPDI/CNPq.

    Professora permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação em Direito e professora Adjunta de Direito Internacional da UFU. Professora do Programa de Pós-graduação em Relações Internacionais da UFSM. Pós-Doutoranda em Direitos e Garantias Fundamentais na Faculdade de Direito de VitóriaFDV. Doutora em Direito Internacional pela UFRGS, com período sanduíche junto à University of Ottawa. Mestre em Direito pela UNISINOS, esta com bolsa CAPES e período sanduíche junto à University of Toronto, com bolsa DFAIT. Membro associada da ASADIP, ILA-Brasil e ABRI. É pesquisadora do NETI/USP. Cocoordena a Assesoria Jurídica para Migrantes e Pessoas em Situação de Risco – AJESIR/UFU.
