The present work aims to understand how climate change impacts vulnerable populations. This is an important topic to be debated, especially in view of the increase in extreme weather events, which have started to occur with greater frequency and intensity, causing numerous damages. To this end, topics such as industrialization, exploitation of natural resources and global warming will be discussed. In a second moment, the theme of climate change and its impacts will be addressed. Finally, discussions will be held on which groups will be initially affected by climate change and the impacts of this global phenomenon on vulnerable populations. The present research uses a qualitative approach for the appreciation of the researched data. It is a theoretical research, using bibliographic and documental research techniques on the subject under discussion, in addition to a theoretical-exploratory methodology. At the end, some reflections on the topic will be presented.
