Book review of “Profits, accumulation, and crisis in capitalism long-term trends in the United Kingdom, United States, Japan, and China, 1855-2018”, published by Routledge Publishing in 2020. Minqi Li is an associate professor at the University of UTAH, USA, and a leading expert in Marxist economics and world-systems. Li's work offers an important Marxist analysis of these economies, making an important contribution to those interested in the trajectory of capitalist economies.
