Criteria to set boundary between neoclassic and heterodox economics: an analysis based on structural instability
Abstract
ABSTRACT: This paper is based on the Bueno (1997), Vercelli (1991) and Herscovici (2004; 2005) research work and focus on the structural instability/stability of the explanation models of the neoclassic and heterodox economics theories - that permit to ascertain the importance of history - and is taken in this paper as the main criteria of this differentiation. The proposed criteria was used to classify the Macroeconomics "novo-classic" and post-Keynesian frameworks. The conclusion points out the post-Keynesian approach associated to the heterodox field and the "novo classic" to the neoclassic economics.Downloads
