Tendencial Law of Falling Rate of Profit: a critical survey of a polemic
Abstract
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to survey the main polemical issues in the Marx's tendencial law of falling rate of profit. The First polemical issue is the relation between a rising rate of surplus value in consequence of a elevation of productivity and the rate of profit. Another issue is the rational action of capitalists in a decision of production methods and its consequences on rate of profit. A final issue is the suppose implicit hypotheses of diminishing returns in Marx's argument. The conclusion point to the enlightment of the Marx's work as a result of the polemics.Downloads
