Macroeconomic Gear: subordmated insertion and costs reversion of the Brazilian economy
Abstract
Abstract: The economic policy imposed to the developing countries by the international multilateral organisms didn't obtain the promised results. However, there are no signs of a paradigm change. Our thesis is that there is a significant unchangeable of the economic policy that have been undertaken by most of the developing countries. The unchangeable is given by the costs of change of those policies. To treat of the aspects in subject, we specifically discuss the case of the economical adjustment undertaken by Brazil in the years 1990, detaching that the perspective adopted by the Government of Fernando Henrique Cardoso drafted in a macroeconomics gear of expensive reversion and maintenance in a globalize economy, of integrated finance markets. Our indication is that the success of the program of inflationary stabilization and monetary reform implemented in 1994 doesn't have perspective of making possible a sustained growth.Downloads
