Determinant of Raw Materials Supply in Integrator Passion Fruit Agribusiness
Abstract
Abstract: Considering the theoretical body of the economy of the transaction costs, this paper shows the main determinant of raw materials supply stability in the passion fruit integrator agribusiness (Fleischmann Royal Nabisco-Maguary). Among the determinant of that supply stability we founded factors related to the specificity of assets as specificity of the productive structure, impossibility of the producer to store the production, and regional dispersion of the production with the objective of reducing the negative impacts adverse agriculture-environmental conditions; and factors related to the strategy of the agribusiness processor how to have great number of having integrated, each producer to answer for small portion of the passion fruit production, to choose producing with tradition and or interest in doing use of modern technological innovations, to choose producing with need of alternative sources of job generation and income, etc.Downloads
