The Development of the Democratic State and the Brazilian Corporativism
Abstract
Abstract: The article discusses the problems on the equatio of construction of the democratic State and Brazilian corporativism, and it proposes a reflection on the character of the corporativism in the Brazilian democracy construction. It looks for to establish some analytical connections among both the theory of the political development created by Reis and Vianna's theory on the democracy organization in Brazil, to show the theoreticalempiric pertinence of Reis' theory on the political development to explain the continuity of the corporate State - taken as a necessary group of political institutions to the Brazilian democratization process.Downloads
