A MEDIAÇÃO DA CARREIRA CALEIDOSCÓPICA NAS RELAÇÕES ENTRE WORKAHOLISMO E CONFLITO TRABALHO-FAMÍLIA

O presente estudo visa analisar as relações entre workaholismo e conflito trabalho-família mediadas pela carreira caleidoscópica no contexto brasileiro. Teoriza-se que as escolhas feitas para conduzir a carreira, seguindo o modelo de carreira caleidoscópica, podem influenciar as experiências dos indivíduos em relação a comportamentos workaholics e à percepção de conflito entre trabalho e família. Para testar essas relações, coletaram-se dados de 720 trabalhadores brasileiros de diferentes profissões, os quais foram analisados por meio de técnicas estatísticas de modelagem de equações estruturais (MEE). Das hipóteses levantadas pelo estudo, um total de 19 foram sustentadas com significância (H1 ¹ 0; p < 0,05). Os resultados deste estudo reforçam a interação significativa entre workaholismo, conflito trabalho-família e a mediação exercida pelo modelo de carreira caleidoscópica no contexto brasileiro. Além de identificar que escolhas de carreira influenciam diretamente os comportamentos workaholics e a percepção de conflito entre trabalho e família, o estudo apresenta evidências de que diferentes fases e objetivos de carreira impactam essas relações de forma distinta. Esses achados ampliam o entendimento sobre a complexa dinâmica entre trabalho e vida pessoal, ao mesmo tempo em que introduzem novas perspectivas para futuras investigações no campo do comportamento organizacional.
