DESIGUALDADES SOCIOECONÔMICAS E SAÚDE: ANÁLISE DA HIPÓTESE DOHAD E ESTRATÉGIAS BASEADAS NOS OBJETIVOS DE DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL (ODS)

Resumo

A relação entre desigualdades socioeconômicas e saúde desde os estágios iniciais da vida, analisada através da hipótese das Origens Desenvolvimentistas da Saúde e Doença (DOHaD), enfatiza a necessidade de um ambiente saudável e equitativo desde o início para prevenir efeitos negativos. Fatores educacionais, estresse, violência doméstica, poluição e pobreza influenciam a saúde desde a gestação e a primeira infância. Os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) servem como uma estrutura estratégica para abordar essas causas profundas. Este estudo analisou 39 artigos, revelando conexões entre determinantes sociais da saúde, indicadores de desenvolvimento sustentável e os ODS. O objetivo foi investigar como as desigualdades socioeconômicas impactam a saúde desde os primeiros estágios de vida, segundo a hipótese DOHaD, e discutir estratégias baseadas nos ODS para mitigar essas desigualdades e promover o bem-estar geral. Os achados ressaltam a importância de intervenções integradas e políticas públicas focadas em abordar as causas profundas, e não apenas os sintomas, das questões de saúde, incluindo desigualdades socioeconômicas e ambientais. A revisão conclui que os estudos analisados fornecem uma base sólida para a formulação de políticas que visem melhorar a saúde e o bem-estar das populações, reduzir disparidades sociais e promover um desenvolvimento sustentável e equitativo.
