PRÁTICAS DAS AGENTES COMUNITÁRIAS DE SAÚDE EM CONTEXTOS DE EMERGÊNCIAS SOCIOSSANITÁRIAS E AMBIENTAIS: REVISÃO DE ESCOPO

O objetivo deste estudo é mapear na literatura as práticas desenvolvidas por Agentes Comunitárias de Saúde (ACS) diante de emergências sociossanitárias e ambientais. Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo realizada nas bases Lilacs, SciELO, Bireme, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science e Embase. Foram incluídos 32 artigos de 22 países da África, Ásia e América, sendo analisados por agrupamento temático. As práticas desenvolvidas pelas ACS em emergências sanitárias dizem respeito a epidemias ou surtos de ebola, cólera, malária, tuberculose, HIV, hepatite e dengue; emergências sociais de conflitos armados e derramamento de petróleo; e emergências ambientais, como terremotos, inundações e furacões. Diante das diversas emergências identificadas, as ações das ACS convergem para atividades já historicamente desempenhadas por essas profissionais, com destaque para as práticas de vigilância, educação e comunicação em saúde, mobilização comunitária, cuidados em saúde mental, farmacêuticos e primeiros socorros. Conclui-se que as ACS se apresentam de forma estratégica para a resiliência dos sistemas nacionais de saúde à medida que reorientam seu trabalho para atender às novas demandas sociais, sanitárias e ambientais dos territórios.
