DISTRIBUIÇÃO GEOGRÁFICA E TENDÊNCIA TEMPORAL DE HEPATITES VIRAIS B E C EM SANTA CATARINA ENTRE 2011 E 2020

Objetivo: verificar a distribuição geográfica e a tendência temporal das hepatites virais B (HBV) e C (HCV) em Santa Catarina de 2011 a 2020. Métodos: estudo ecológico com coleta de dados secundários em registros nacionais. Foram calculadas as taxas de incidências padronizadas por idade pelo método direto e estratificadas por sexo e mesorregião. Utilizou-se a análise Joinpoint para estimar as tendências temporais com a Variação Percentual Anual (APC). Resultados: Verificaram-se tendências decrescentes entre 2011 e 2019, HBV nos homens (APC: -4,1%), HBV nas mulheres (APC: -7,2%) e HCV nos homens (APC: -2,9%). Nas mesorregiões verificaram-se oscilações, com reduções significativas do HBV no sexo feminino, porém com aumento do HCV no sexo masculino nas regiões Serrana e Vale do Itajaí. Conclusão: A incidência de hepatites varia no território catarinense, reforçando a necessidade de ampliar as estratégias de prevenção e controle das hepatites virais considerando particularidades regionais.
