In this sense, the objective of this work is to contextualize the role of AU in relation to the production of diversified foods that are being grown in the city in different types of areas. This article is the result of a master's thesis research, which adopted as a methodology the case study in line with the elements of the participant research, such as: interview as an instrument for data collection and analysis of legislation and thematic bibliographies.
