Similarity Check
ArtCultura: Revista de História, Cultura e Arte, as well as all the journals associated with the UFU's Publishing House (Edufu), joins the initiative launched by Crossref, which brings together several journals to protect the originality of the content they publish.
In addition, similarity checking is conducted by Edufu using its proprietary software to detect coincidences and similarities between texts under evaluation and those previously published in other sources. By depositing all our content in the similarity verification database, we allow other publishers to compare texts submitted to them with those previously published.
Digital Preservation Policies
ArtCultura: Revista de História, Cultura e Arte uses the Sistema Eletrônico de Editoração de Revistas (Electronic Journal Editing System, SEER as per its Portuguese acronym) to create a file system distributed among participating libraries, which allows them to create permanent Journal files for preservation and restoration. For digital preservation, the Journal uses SEER and the PKP PN system at the Open Journal System, with which, by the way, it is linked.
