Abstract

Presents issue no. 1 of Vol. 51 of the Journal of the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Uberlândia, which is entirely composed of texts that address critical theory, above all, from a decolonial perspective. In the first of the six parts that make up this issue, 36 articles are published divided into the sections 'foreigners' (02), 'guests' (01) and 'articles in general' (33). In the other sections of this issue, there is an analysis of a decision of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, and the full text of an amicus curiae submission made to the same Court, in addition to the abstracts of the II International Symposium on Critical International Law, carried out with the support of the Revista da FADIR da UFU, in June 2023. In all, there are 80 authors who collaborated to this issue, with representatives from all Brazilian regions (there are 17 states represented: AM, BA, CE, DF, ES, MA, MG, MT, PA, PE, PI, PR, RJ, RS, SP, SC and SE), in addition to authors linked to institutions in Colombia, Chile and Portugal.
