Abstract

Presents edition no. 2 of Vol. 50 of the Journal of the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Uberlândia, making important comments inspired by Gabriel Garcia Márquez's thinking about access to knowledge in the face of the increasingly technological global scenario, which fosters the digital divide and gives rise to new colonial expressions, such as digital coloniality. Thus, the edition is composed of seven sections, comprising 27 scientific articles signed by 50 different researchers, linked to institutions located in 12 states of Brazil (GO, DF, MG, MS, PE, PR, RJ, RN, RO, RS, SC and SP), in addition to institutions from abroad, namely Bolivia, Spain, Switzerland and the Basque Country. Besides, this issue also includes 2 book reviews, 1 case law commentary, 1 report and 2 annals of academic events held with the support of the Journal, totaling 950 pages and 34 files!
